The main difference is the colors offered, the RB 3025 comes in a crazy number of colors, maybe around a 100+ over the years. While the RB 3026 only comes in 2 colors, the arista gold and black.
Next is the size, the RB 3025 comes in 3 eye sizes, a 55mm, 58mm & 62mm. The RB 3026 is made in only 1 size, the 62mm.
This is the part that may get confusing, so bear with me. Basically, not even sure why they bothered making a different model number for the RB 3026, as it's exactly the same as any RB 3025 in a 62mm size.
So are you able to tell the difference? If you haven't figured it out yet, the first one is the RB 3026 and the second RB 3025.
But of course, if you bought the RB 3025 in sizes 55mm or 58mm, the sizing would be different. But for either models in size 62mm, the bridge size and temple lengths are the same also.
So not sure why they do it, but Ray-Ban does it. My best guess would be because the RB 3026 is a classic model number for Ray-Ban and I guess when Bausch and Lomb made them, the RB 3025 didn't come in 62mm, then maybe they have the RB 3026 as the 62mm size. But the "why" question is hurting my brain. You guys just asked the difference, not the reason why, so stop bugging me! ;)
So please comment below if you know or have theories on why they do this, so my head can stop hurting so bad.
